Recently, the NFC Forum (NFC Forum), which is responsible for formulating NFC-related technical standards, has finally released the blueprint for the next five years of the technology. According to the blueprint, the next main development direction of NFC technology will be to increase the scope of use, also nfc reader long range.
It is reported that the current NFC technology only has a contact range of 5mm, which means that two NFC-enabled machines must be able to exchange data only when the distance between them is only 5mm.
Under the new standard, this range will be expanded by a maximum of 6 times to 30mm, which will undoubtedly greatly reduce the accuracy requirements of NFC antennas and reduce the possibility of failure in scenarios such as mobile payment.
In addition, the new standard also plans to increase the NFC wireless charging specification from 1W to 3W, which will also bring more application scenarios for NFC technology.
In other respects, another improvement in this blueprint is that one interaction allows for multiple operations, supporting point-to-point transfers, identification of dependencies, full-journey ticketing, and more. At present, these plans are still in the development stage, and the official has not announced the specific launch time of each technology.
